Kathleen Cooper, ParalegalSenior Researcher and Paralegal at Canadian Environmental Law AssociationKathleen Cooper has worked in environmental research positions for 35 years. As Senior Researcher at CELA, and a paralegal, she provides casework support to environmental litigation files, conducts law reform and public legal education, and has authored several publications about the effects of environmental contaminants on fetal and child health as well as links between early life exposures and later life chronic disease.
Working with colleagues in the Canadian Partnership for Children’s Health and Recent work has focused on the RentSafe project to address indoor environmental health issues for low-income tenants in Ontario, research and advocacy about law and policy across Canada concerning radon, and the federal regulatory assessment of pesticides used indoors.
