Enforcing Your Rights at the LTB … It’s All Different Now!

APRIL 29, 2021 ‒ 7 – 9 PM

We hope everyone enjoyed the recent OPA CPD Series “Enforcing your rights at the LTB...It’s all different now!” held on April 29, 2021. The recent changes made at the Landlord and Tenant Board highlight how quickly the law changes and the importance of staying on top of those changes to enhance your practice and provide thorough legal services to clients!

Guest speakers Doug Levitt and George Brown led an engaging and thorough conversation, pinpointing relevant caselaw, covering the many recent amendments to the LTB's Practice Directions, discussing practice tips for virtual hearings in the Tribunal, and what all this means for Paralegals and their clients.

Doug and George further discussed a number of vital resources where members can stay abreast of the latest updates at the LTB. Below are some of the resources mentioned throughout the CPD.
For those looking to watch this CPD again, kindly note that it is not yet available for replay, however, we are working very hard to make the recording available online in our CPD Archives. We appreciate your patience! The CPD will be available to view very shortly. Please visit the Professional Development and Learning Portal for all the latest news and updates from your Education Committee.
